At home Cupcake Wars!!!!!!

Okay so as of lately my mother and I have had a thing for making cupcakes. Yes they are oh so divine, I suppose that after watching cupcake wars and cupcake girls that we have too joined the evil side of cupcake making!!!! For my little cousins graduation my mother and I made crip cakes and I know you are wondering what exactly are crip cakes? Well, we didn't want to make a red velvet cupcake because we thought it would be girly, so we decided to make blue!!! And boy were they blue, after hearing they were pretty awesome and pretty blue...trust me...we were shittin blue cupcakes! So, for the second batch of cup cakes we made lemon flavored cupcakes with a lemon cream cheese frosting topped off with a fresh raspberry. They weren't as lemon-y as we wanted them but they were moist! So tonight we made more! lol Yes we made more lemon cup cakes, with more lemon, more yellow, and more sprinkles! So here is a picture of the cupcakes. I am going to start selling them for $1.50 each as a fundraiser so I can go back to school! So go ahead, look at the pictures of our beautiful cupcakes and let your mouth water. lol

Avocado Egg Rolls

I like cooking, it isn't something I am super duper good at like my mom but hell...I can dab a little lmao. My boyfriend hasn't complained yet. So this is a recipe I wanted to share with you for my avocado egg rolls. Here is what you will need:
1 Pack of Nasoya Egg roll wraps (you can find in walmart in the veggie section)
3(or more) Avocados, if you like em...add more!
1 Little jar of sun dried tomato's
A little cilantro
Garlic Salt season to taste
1 tablespoon Red onion minced
1 egg and you gotta beat that bad boy!
Oil for frying
So the first step is to divide your avocados and cut them diagonal and vertical (should look like an "X") set aside. Chop up your sun dried tomato's, red onion and mince the cilantro. Get a bowl, throw the avocado, sun dried tomato, and cilantro in, season to taste with the garlic salt and stir. DO NOT SMUSH, JUST STIR LOL! Get your egg and beat the mess out of it in a separate bowl. Set aside. Get the Nasoya egg roll wraps and lay it down in the shape of a diamond get a spoonful of the avocado mixture and put it in the middle of the wrap and fold the bottom angle of the wrap over the avocado mixture, dip your fingers in the egg and put it over the part you just covered. Next, you have to fold the left and right sides of the roll to the middle so you can close it up and put some more of the egg on it, not a lot just do it with your fingers (doing this step will work as a bonding agent so when it is frying it wont open up.) The last step is to roll the egg roll up towards the last open part, and do the egg step again so that you can close the egg roll. Repeat until all of  the avocado mixture is gone. Get a pot, heat up the oil and drop the egg rolls, it is best to do 2 at a time. Do not fry long, just until they are golden brown. We usually eat them with ranch, its up to you. Enjoy!

You are going to school right?????

Let me start off by saying I am not the best in the grammar department part of me cares...the other half...ehhh not so much. Anywhooser, I am doing this blog because I see all of my little cousins and friends on facebook and NOTICE SOMETHING STRANGE. LOL THEY CANT SPELL! There is no pun intended and I understand the younger generation of kids can do a whole text message with sentences like this "so lyk hw r u doin? i rly lyk awl muh frands" lol Okay, I know...I get it, this world is moving so fast with the technology. And I understand that most phones only give you 150 letters per text BUT why do the kids write their school papers as if they are writing a text? I crack the hell up!!!!! I mean i am a big goof for sometimes writing this > "!!!!!!!!!!!11111", do you see all of those 1's lol. I am a dork for that but what I am making fun of can get serious. Believe it or not, most college students write their papers as if they are texting and get bad grades because of simple mistakes. Oh well I think this whole movement of making up words is hella funny. Especially when my cousin text me the other day and said "CTFU" I was like WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!?!? Mediatakeout thought "CTFU" meant "shut the fuck up".....that is plain as daylight that they are mentally retarded. I feel like a lame when people text me these acronyms for texting...I guess I am getting older because most of the time I can't determine if people are not using spellcheck or if they are dyslexic. Yes I am laughing my ass off while I am writing this. So if you want to be a acronym texting pro go to http://www.netlingo.com/acronyms.php they have the largest list of text message acronyms!!!! LAUGHING OUT LOUD...NO REALLY I AM! :-D IM GETTIN OLD HAHAHAHA!!! You would not believe how many highlighted words there were on here after I pressed spellcheck hahaha. I am a nut! So all in all kids (that was a transition sentence ***laugh out loud***), keep going to school and pay attention to your lessons not your phones! Your parents are gonna need you to wipe their butts when they get older and you are gonna need to know how to spell when  you are looking for the depends :-)

Don't let anyone steal your joy.

My mom told me this today....Don't let anyone steal your joy. This blog is for all of you who have people in your life who are constantly bringing you down. Sometimes I wonder if people bring other people down for their own enjoyment, like do they get off on making you upset. Or do they just want to steal your joy by saying what they know will cut you like a knife? Either way, you have to follow your heart but doing what you love and loving who you love. Because if you don't do what makes you happy you will regret it. And to be honest I would rather find out the result on my own than to constantly be brought down with other peoples negative thoughts. I said I wanted to be a lawyer...they said be a doctor. I said I wanted to dance...they said do something practical. I still want to be a lawyer...and guess what, I still dance to my music in my parents basement. Because it makes me happy. So when people try to make you change your mind, tell you something is dumb or shoot down your dreams...you prove them wrong. Keep your head up and keep going on about your business. I always see how some people don't support small businesses shooting them down and talking negative. But what happens when that small business becomes a large business. What about that little girl who could dance but everyone tried to stop her...you cut on your TV one day and see her dancing her heart out. Or even when Jennifer Hudson was on American Idol and Simon told her she couldn't sing...as Chris Brown would say...LOOK AT HER NOW, SHE GETTIN PAPER! Okay so everyone knows by now that I have a love for fashion...I could be lame and say fashion is my passion but it isn't...I like making cupcakes lol. Anywhooser, I am blogging today to inform you all that there is a new up can coming clothing line called Dai Wear. Right now it is in the beginning stages and it is up to the rest of the world to support this small clothing line to make it a huge success. I am a fan of supporting our race, normally other black people hate on black owned businesses but we have to stick together. So this is me promoting this new line. I aint sayin she's a gold digger...

***ATTENTION*** Before you read this just know I am not racist in any way shape or form, I am just blogging about a conversation I was recently involved in.

     I heard an interesting convo the other night. I wanted to do a blog about it because I know there are other people in the world who may have had this conversation. How its okay for white women to use men and suck them dry (money wise) <PERVERTS! BUT if an African American woman does it she is a gold digger and a hoe. what makes that right? The man of the conversation was put in a very difficult position because he babbled all about this. I am all for women being independent and having their own shit because there is nothing a man can take from you when you have your own. And I am pretty sure men think it is sexy as hell when a woman has her own. However, I have been in Atlanta for a while now and I see a lot of women using men for their money. Whether it is in a club or at the mall, she will not pay for she wants. The whole thing is, in Americas eyes when a black woman uses a man for his money, whether it is to go out to dinner or to go shopping she is automatically considered a hoe and a gold digger. Why I ask? Maybe because all you see on TV is video vixens and how men glorify women with big asses and play into buying them whatever they want. As soon as she slips up...she is being called a gold digger and a hoe. HOWEVER, when a white woman does the same exact thing it is okay? No, if anything she is a gold digger as well. I am sorry, but this is how I feel. The only difference is the white women act like they are in love with the men and possibly brainwash them. lol All I am saying is, why is it okay for a woman of another race to date a man and use him for his cash but when a black woman does it...she is a gold digger? This is confusing. It is all the same, black, white, purple, or even red there is no difference when it comes to "gold digging". In Kanye West song "Gold digger" he talks about this topic, how she may not be a gold digger but she doesn't mess with no broke dudes. Even in one point of the song he said "Now I ain't saying you're a gold digger you got needs You don't want your dude to smoke but he can't buy weed You got out to eat and he cant pay you all can't leave There's dishes in the back, he gotta roll up his sleeves But why you all washing watch him He gone make it into a Benz out of that Datson He got that ambition baby look in his eyes This week he mopping floors next week it's the fries So, stick by his side I know his dude's balling but yeah that's nice And they gone keep calling and trying But you stay right girl But when you get on he leave your ass for a white girl" I think this part is funny at the end about the white girl because although a guy may go to a white woman, she is going to do the same thing. I believe that this whole "using" thing is not the young woman's fault BUT it is the medias fault and possibly parenting. I see how there are so many video vixens who do this (white and black), and although I love Amber Rose she is lightweight doing the same thing. And I know you are wondering why I said parenting, I said it because some girls have mothers who drill it into their heads that it is okay for her to use a man and that she doesn't have to do anything. That is a major key point in this blog because there have even been TV shows about how women train their daughters to be dependant on men. THAT SUCKS!!!! Ladies, go to school and get on the right path. Don't believe all of the hype on gold digging and what you see because I am sure that most of the men who blow their money on expensive things are wanting a lil sum sum in return. Even if you watch this Kanye West video, you will see how there is only one white woman in the video. All the rest of them are black women, like the video was directed to us...this is just my opinion but I think that white women could have been in the video a little more because they use men too. I cant stand how the world is...like it is only okay for white women to use men for their money but it is a different story with black women. I think that people should take a step back and look at this as a whole picture...not just white and black. Maybe women should just go to school and graduate and show men that they do not need their money. Because again...women do rule the world. But lets not give men the upper hand...I'm pretty sure there have been plenty of women who have fallen victim to using a man and he wants something in return...that sounds like a sticky situation. Not the Empire state of mind...the Beauty School

LOL! Okay, so I did my blog about being confident last week or something I like that, I really don't know. BUT! Let me tell you this, shit is goin good for me. I have been happier than I have been in the past, even with oily and 5 day old straightened hair I am bad! Now, when I say all of this, I do not mean that dudes are lining up at my door but I am saying that I feel good about myself, even on my worst days I look good. I even sit in the damn bathroom sink for 30 minutes putting on makeup! LMAO I think it is funny. I did not want to get off topic and I almost did just that, I am excited to say that on Saturday I will be going on a tour to Empire Beauty School who is affiliated with Regis. I have looked at Paul Mitchell..they cost more than a year at Clayton State...PAUSE! I looked at Toni and Guy...they were cool but too far...I do not have gas money like that...PAUSE. And I feel like God wanted me to see this place because I was in the car riding past it and happened to look over. Everything feels right about it. I must also say everything is in the meantime. I want to do hair because I can have money while I am going to get my Degree in Political Science. Then when I am off to law school I will hopefully be doing celebrity hair. In doing their hair I will build a clientele before I finish Law school and take my bar exam. YES THIS IS MY PLAN TO BE AN ENTERTAINMENT ATTORNEY. I am taking pre-career steps and I wanted to let you know. :-) Stay motivated for school and life! I am choosing to do what is best for me in my situation. So young ladies and men, don't fret if you lose your way because obstacles are what you see when you lose sight of your goal. Just pick yourself up, shake that old shit off that you carrying around with you and do what you gotta do. Nobody is going to make the world go round for you...that is up to you to accomplish! Who run the world? Uhh yeah...women! duh!!!!

When Beyonce's song "Girlz (who run the world)" came out I wasn't the biggest fan of it, I am not sure what it was but soon after I found myself walking around the house doing the dances from her video and singing the song. I suddenly realized, this is a good song...I like the lyrics...I like the dancing kind of...and most of all it made me think of how true the song is. I mean look at Beyonce...she married Jay-Z who in my opinion is not the hottest guy in the world, she does her movies, magazines, etc. She handles her business! Oprah, I'm not the biggest fan of her but I can say she does the damn thing. She inspires women of all age groups to do something special...and for themselves. Indra Nooyi is the chairman and chief executive of Pepsi Co Inc. and is ranked as #6 on Forbes most powerful women list. Also, on Forbes most powerful women list is Janet Napolitano, she is the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security. I mean I think that women do run the world, we bear babies, we come in all shapes and sizes, we are beautiful and smart. In saying all of this I feel that as a young lady it is my duty to be the leader in my family...to be the one to go to school and be a successful entertainment attorney and take care of my parents when they get older. School is important...that is the first step...forget the boyfriends and partying (trust me, it is not worth it). With a degree you can do anything you dream of and be what you want. Independence is also another key role to being a powerful woman, you should be able to take care of your self physically, mentally, and financially...then you can think of the rest of the stuff like...babies and marriage. NEVER forget your dreams and goals NEVER! Chase after what you love, if you want to be a vet, doctor, president, singer,artist, dancer, lawyer, whatever your heart desires...DO IT! Don't let anyone tell you that your dreams are pipe-dreams or that they are dumb. Do what you love to do. Be a powerful woman, handle your business and go to school...PLEASE go to school. Without a good education....it is hard in the world. And most of all...remember...YOU CAN BE SMART AND SEXY!

Is the world saying it is ok?

I don't watch much television however when I do flip through the channels I always see these hour long episodes of "16 and Pregnant", I will watch like 10 minutes of it and all of a sudden I ask myself "who the hell told these girls it was cool to get pregnant this young? So I talked about it with an associate of mine and she told me these girls on this show get paid like 60 thousand just for doing the show. The million dollar question is, why are Americans glorifying pregnant 16 year olds and why are they making it seem like it is okay to do this without being married? My mother and father always told me the right thing to do was to get a good education, make something out of myself, get married and then have kids. So that I can take care of myself with or without a man. Now there is no pun intended to the young ladies who got pregnant at 16 with no intentions on getting fame from it. But what I am disappointed in is the young ladies thinking it is cool to lay down, not wrap it up, pop out a baby while in high school and they cant take care of themselves. WHAT REALLY GETS ME...PAUSE....IS HOW THEY HAVE THESE BABIES AND WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM AS IF IT WERE SOME KIND OF ACCIDENT! I saw one chick on there who was smoking weed and was fighting...its bad enough you are having a baby or have one but what kind of example is she setting for young ladies around her age. I know a couple of girls who had babies young....did they do it to get famous? NO! And I absolutely think they should be crowned for stepping up and doing what they had to do. Whether it was playing mom and dad or just finishing school,these girls did it. I guess what I am trying to say is, young ladies under 16...save yourself for someone who is worth your time. A baby cannot raise a baby, it may look fun because they are cute and make poopies and peepee's but before you lay down and end your life (meaning your dreams will be over, your needs will no longer matter, and your money....wont be yours anymore.) think about all the time, money, lack of sleep, education, and respect you will lose just for 30 minutes of fame. Just so that when your kid grows up they can make the same mistake or be embarrassed by you. I am in no way shape or form trying to put down all the young mothers, but I am putting down the girls who get pregnant especially for the show...or because they think having a baby is cool. ALL MY RESPECT GOES OUT TO THE YOUNG MOTHERS WHO HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS IN A POSITIVE WAY...NOT FOR THE FAME AND GLORY. America is ruining our young society with this reality show, what are you going to do to help your kids of tomorrow? Think about it....when you type "16" into your google search engine what immediately comes up?

THING TUTORIAL! LOL

I AM CLEARLY NOT GOOD AT DOING TUTORIALS. However you can go to your local arts and crafts store to get these items. They will all be in or around the jewelry making area. I got a small crimper to open and close the pieces to the jewelry etc. That was only $6. The little circle pieces, and connect things to close the feather onto, and the actual earring piece were like $2 and the packs come with a lot. Umm IDK! LOL THIS SUCKS! I WAS BORED AND DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO MY STUFFY NOSE! I JUST CRIED! LOL So I hope you learned how to make your own friggin earrings so you don't have to buy expensive ones anymore. If you need help lemme knooooooo!

WAKE UP! SPEAK UP!

My mom got me this really nice journal...okay call it a diary if you want to and I promise you will get a knuckle sammich! Anyway the front of it says " PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DREAMS- THEY MAY CONTAIN INSTINCTIVE WARNINGS OR AN URGENT MESSAGE FROM YOUR HEART OF HEARTS. SOMETIMES, A DREAM CAN BE A COMPASS TO GUIDE YOU FROM YOUR TRUEST SELF" and the inside she wrote to me "BRITTANY MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS TURN INTO REALITY LOVE MOM". I was already crying in my room because I found out some disturbing news, but this made me cry even more..but it was a positive cry. Like my mom really cares about me....she has seen me depressed and not inspired by any type of motivational speeches, but I need to make a promise to her and myself, that I will get better. I hate feeling sad all the time, so what I will do with this journal she got me is just write my thoughts. Keep being confident, cry less, and grow from this storm. I have to keep rising and keep living and keep loving. I am gonna write every experience in this journal especially when I go back to school. There is so much on my mind...and I can write it in here....I only hope nobody invades my mind and reads my journal. So people, if you are constantly sad and feel like there will be no light, turn to your mom or dad or anyone you trust, get a journal, and take their hand and ask for help. Ask them to help you through your storm. Because I let my problems build up in me...I bottle my feelings up and I am about to crack. I don't want to see anyone crack under pressure. I don't tell anyone how I feel because I know they will get mad at me. I know they will think I am selfish...I guess sometimes I am. Anyway, I am writing this to say girls and guys...don't bottle up your feelings if you are depressed or always sad. Talk...write...scream...make a video about it, and use it as a lesson for the next person. Don't break under pressure.....don't be afraid to have a voice. I am....I was...but now...I will speak up. If you cant talk to anyone you confide in, email me...I will listen. I have my own problems, but I am never too busy to give my advice. PEACE AND LOVE.

DUDES!!!!!

One thing I know is that I am a good girl, and by good girl I mean when I have a dude I treat him right. I cook for him, tell him all the sweet nothings, cook for him, wash his clothes and do what I think is best for him. It seems like you go out of your way for your dude right? I know, it is because you are a girl....you want to put more time and effort into the relationship than he does because you are looking at the future future. No I am not saying that every guy you meet is the one you think about your future with but sometimes you have that special feeling. Where you would go above and beyond, to the moon and back just to get some satisfaction out of it. Sometimes I have this feeling, that my dude and I would be such a power couple and how we could accomplish so many things by supporting each other. This leads me to say dudes, don't let your good girl go bad. "men can stick it in any place that they can but for women it is about security and commitment and whatever the fuck else, if you men only knew! but your not the jealous type are you? you've never been jealous about me have you? and why haven't you ever been jealous about me? you are very sure about yourself aren't you?!" This was featured in one of  Frank Oceans songs and I think it is very true. Guys think they can screw whoever and get away with it but for women, we lock down our goodies for that one guy we are with. We push away the temptations and act like we are Indian women by covering our faces. All I can say is men...you always complain about how some women are hoes, but you can do whatever. You always complain that you cant find your "wifey", don't do us dirty then we wont be so hard to find. Because I have met so many women who say they got tired of men doing them dirty so they just went gay. GUYS!!!!!! DUDES!!!!! DON'T LET YOUR GOOD GIRL GO BAD! If you want excitement, go get some chains and whips, go get costumes and candies, go get freaky if you need to. SPICE IT UP! There is nothing that a woman cant do. There are so many of us good girls out there who will push away so many guys just for you, so lover her...and squeeze her....and kiss her...and most of all...let her know she is beautiful, she is amazing, she is sexy, and that you love her more than anything. You will get so far if you just take time to tell your girl she is special...

Lizard Thicket

There are very few clothing stores in Georgia that I actually like however, there is one in particular called Lizard Thicket. This store has the cutest outfits ever because once you get it, it can never be found again because it will be sold out. This is the type of store where you can shop and never see anyone with the same outfit you have on because it is so exclusive. I use the word exclusive because to my knowledge there are only 2 stores out here. One is in Peachtree city and the other is in Newnan, and I just happen to live right in between both of them which is amazing. So here are a few of the new arrivals they have in the store. I will post the link for you to look at the site but the downside is you cannot purchase any of the clothes online so if you live in Newnan, GA or Peachtree City, GA areas then go ahead and check out the store for these cute clothes.

BEING CONFIDENT DAY 1

OKAY, So I have a bad track record for having low self esteem and being confident. But last night, I got the most sincere speech from my boyfriend in a tone that I could not take lightly. He asked me to be confident, and with that would come more happiness to our relationship. My mom has been telling me for the longest "you need to be more confident, you are pretty, you need to start praying". So with both of their help, I have decided to become confident because I will get nowhere if I continue to bring myself down . So he asked me to conduct a paragraph of how I will be more confident. I am not sure if it is okay, but I am going to share it with you and I hope I can get some positive feedback. "

I am going to be more confident because I have an amazing boyfriend who really care about me, a family who supports me, and despite my migraines I am healthy. I will be more confident because as each day passes I get more and more beautiful by growing into my look. I know how to do makeup pretty good, which means I am talented artistically. I have goals that I am going to reach with the proper ambition and I will succeed. I am going to be more confident because each day, God wakes me up and lets me know that I still have a purpose here therefore he is giving me another chance to right any wrongs. I love my life because I have amazing people surrounded by me. And the more I don’t focus on the negatives in my life, the more I will succeed and the more things will come to me. And one of the major things that will keep my drive high, is I always have something to look forward to each day; knowing I have someone special to share my feelings with, to mature with, make a better future with and to love unconditionally. I will be more confident and speak up because not being confident will not get me anywhere. I never thought I was talented but I am, I can dance, I always have good ideas, I’m good at the art of makeup, and I can make people laugh. I will be confident because I am smart, and with the knowledge God has blessed me with I will use it to my advantage. Confident people don’t cry when given criticism, nor do they stay away from people so from here on out I won’t do either. In being more confident I will decrease the number of migraines I have, I will know that I won’t be forgotten, and things will come to me. Plus, I am good at cooking…so I got a few things going for myself!" I love my mother and my boyfriend, you two have been my drive....you two are the only ones who have pushed for me to be confident and know that I am beautiful....so I thank you. Every time something happens in the music industry it is either frowned upon or glorified. In this case, for Rihanna she frowned upon gettin her ass beat by Chris Brown and like Joan of Arc she played the victim so well. Now sometime after this happened to her she began to use it to her advantage by coming out with her album Loud. Her single S&M was released and immediately when I heard it I was like wow, this chick is violent and it had me thinking maybe she provoked Chris Brown...hmm? I am no advocate for abusing women but she seems to be. Who makes a song saying "'Cause I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it

Now I already hate the lyrics because she is talking about destruction and violence, like who the hell would make a song like this after the whole world felt sorry for them? And check out the video....it starts out with her shooting a guy in the back. PAUSE! And continues off to the previous day which features guns. PAUSE! Later on she is in a club and dances with a dude she saw earlier and pushes him away, she leaves the club, he goes after her sees her in a dark corner, and man handles her and possibly rapes her. PAUSE! This is where I am confused, you put out a song talking about shooting a guy and how you felt bad after, but the video isn't in central station, she is "raped" in a dark ass alley, and runs home to find a gun to shoot the guy. OH MY GOSH GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!!Okay, the past is the past but it makes me wonder if this chick is using all that happened with Chris Brown to get ahead. Like dude had to put up a fight to get himself back out in the music industry, for the radios and television to play his songs, etc. I am just now down with this chick after this video. The world isn't like this, yeah bad things happen women, guys do horrible things to women that is not right and they should go to jail for it but she could have done a better video. PERIOD! You watch the video and you be the judge. Everyone has been so hard on Chris Brown, I think it is Rihanna's turn to reflect on herself.
AGAIN, THIS IS ALL HOW I FEEL ABOUT HER MUSIC AND HER VIDEO THIS IS NOT HOW THE WORLD FEELS BUT I CAN VOICE MY OPINION JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE.

Atlanta..

I would have to say that Atlanta always rants and raves about having the best BBQ places, food, night life, and hospitality. Let me clarify something for you, that is very untrue. Every BBQ place I have been to sucks, the sauce is not suppose to be tangy, that's nasty. Also, the food should be falling off the bones, it should make your mouth water instead of the tangy ass sauce making your mouth water from too much vinegar. None of these places are good, if you think otherwise, comment and tell me something I don't know. All the other food places, I think tend to be over priced. Who wants to pay a whole bunch of money for dry, tasteless, and expensive food? NOT ME! And the drinks...make them stronger, we aren't babysitting here! I can say that Mellow Mushroom pizza is the closest thing I can get to a California pizza. The crust, it is all about the crust, and they definitely put they foot in it! LOVE IT! My favorite is the house pizza with artichoke hearts, the pesto pizza and the ceasar salad pizza. That is just my preference. Also, if you are from California and you are wondering where the hell a good doughnut spot is besides Krispy Kreme, go to Dough In A Box. This place is the bomb, if you blink then you will definitely miss this little place. Everything about it reminds me of California from the look, prices and the taste. They aren't expensive, they give you free doughnut holes with every purchase, and again these bad boys are amazing. The only thing is they close early, they close around 2:00PM, so you gotta get there in the morning to enjoy a taste of California. The night life in Atlanta is so so I guess. I haven't been to a club yet where I am just like okay this is the spot. I have been to Opera, Velvet Room, Obsessions, Echelon 3000, one at underground, and  a few other places. They are all okay...I would have to say I like the variety of music at Opera and the setup. I also kind of liked Velvet Room again because of the setup however, Atlanta needs a new spot that is chill with good music. I plan on opening the hottest spot in Atlanta. As soon as I get some moolah! I don't want to give you the details because you might try to steal my idea but it will definitely have live music and be chill! Last but not least, the hospitality. They say the south is the best place for this. I think not, the people are just like everywhere else, you run by some nice people and you run by some jerks. There is nothing wrong with gay people but there are A LOT OF THEM EVERYWHERE YOU GO! It took some time getting use to but it is cool because everyone can be who they want to. Atlanta drivers drive like they are drunk, all day and night. Nobody uses their blinkers and I see more accidents than I see people drive. So, if you think otherwise about anything that I wrote in here comment please :-) feel free to start a heated debate because I am always going to think California is better...everyone thinks where they are from is better.
